As SM’s partner school, Asia Pacific College encouraged its faculty and staff to help out in the Medical and Dental Mission at SM Center Imus last June 19, 2019.
Volunteers were assigned to assist in the registration, checking of vital signs, and distribution of medicine. Quality Assurance Director Lorena Rabago took charge of the medical registration area. Publications Head Philip Erpelo assisted those who wanted to have their teeth checked. Reymond Turbanada from the IT Resource Office assisted the senior citizens. Under the leadership of Hazel Santos from APC’s Student Services, the team of volunteers enjoyed serving the residents of Cavite.
SM Medical and Dental Missions are initiatives of SM Foundation, Inc. to help indigent Filipino families who cannot afford private medical and dental checkups. By giving free services, it stands true to its mission of consistently providing a high standard of service to its customers.
