Asia Pacific College (APC) officially launched Chronicle: A Journal of Technology, Design, and Culture on February 5, 2025, at MPH1. Developed under the Research and Creative Works Office (RCWO), Chronicle is a biannual, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary dialogue among researchers, practitioners, and creative professionals.
The journal provides a platform for critical inquiry, exploring the evolving relationships between technological advancements, design practices, and cultural transformations. It welcomes a wide range of scholarly contributions, including original research articles, theoretical essays, commentaries, reviews, and creative works. By bridging regional and global perspectives, Chronicle aims to elevate APC’s role in knowledge production and academic discourse.
A key feature of the journal is its multilingual accessibility, developed by Jeho Ram Subedi. Supporting 104 languages, this innovation enhances inclusivity, making Chronicle accessible to foreign students, visiting professors, and international researchers—reinforcing APC’s commitment to global engagement.
The launch event was led by the RCWO, a service unit under the Office of the President, which supports faculty research, organizes workshops, and disseminates key findings.
