APC Senior High School Celebrates 12th Anniversary With Week-Long Festivities

 Asia Pacific College Senior High School marked its 12th anniversary with a week-long celebration under the theme “NOSTRAM’S VISION: APC SHS 12 Years of Arcanic Triumph.” The event, held from May 20 to May 24, was filled with a variety of engaging activities.

Sharifa Leigh Foronda, Deputy Vice President of APC SOAR-SHS, stated, “The activities shall be a true test among the students to showcase APC’s spirit of industry, integrity, and innovation. Hence, the creation of NostRAM — a symbolic character that embodies APC senior high school’s success and spirit — who sees a vision of a divine week that honors our triumphs of the past, present, and future.”

 

The celebrations kicked off on May 20 with a performance by the APC Chorale. This was followed by the official opening of the tarot card banner competition, where students showcased their talent and creativity through artistic designs. The atmosphere was further enlivened by a raffle, where audience members had the chance to win prizes such as gift cards from SM. Participants also had the opportunity to know their fate through free tarot card readings conducted by the school’s alumni.

The grand finale of the event on May 24 commenced with an opening segment that included a PSA and advertisement for APC. The award ceremony followed, where winners of various contests, such as the NBA 2k24 and Tekken tournaments, the talent show, incantation making, and the tarot card banner competition, were announced.

First runner up: Saimon Lumod
Second runner up: Ray Julien Villamena and Denver Eugene Mana-ay

Entertainment then took center stage in the latter part of the day when the APC Dance Company delivered a performance that had the audience cheering. This was followed by impromptu singing performances by random students who showed their talent in front of the audience. The celebrations concluded with a concert by the APC Band, bringing the event to a successful close.
