The CLOUD COMPUTING & VIRTUALIZATION TRACK prepares students in infrastructure management using the Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud services. Each module is 54 hours.
Cloud Foundation
This is an introductory module for cloud concepts, using AWS core services, preparing students to pursue an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification.
Cloud Architecture
This is an intermediate-level module that covers fundamentals of building IT infrastructure on AWS. The students will be given the option to take the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Certificate.
Cloud Development
This module deals with the development of applications on the AWS Cloud. It will help students gain technical expertise in using cloud technologies, identify best practices for building and deploying applications, and prepare students for the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification exam.
Cloud Operations
This module prepares students to pursue in-demand DevOps, support and cloud operations roles at the entry level, with the option to take the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification. There will be case studies, demonstrations and hands-on activities on how to troubleshoot various scenarios and automate deployment of networks and systems on AWS.
