Bayanihan Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic greatly affected the global economy which has a direct impact on the lives of people. No one has been exempted during the hype of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. In the Philippines alone, the whole country suffered from this pandemic, and the people’s source of income was affected due to the massive retrenchment in various industries.
In 2021, the Asia Pacific College (APC) extended support for the farmers from St. Isidro Agro Ventures Agri Trading, Inc. in coordination with SM Foundation. APC purchased vegetables from the farmers and donated them to the Community Pantry Service of Barangay Magallanes in Makati City.
