Asia Pacific College and Plentina hold Digital Roadshow

Asia Pacific College and FinTech company Plentina held its first online roadshow titled “Unlocking Potentials” last September 18, 2021 through Zoom.
Plentina, a startup FinTech company based in Silicon Valley, collaborated with Asia Pacific College in order to discuss career opportunities various technological innovations developed to address various problems and issues, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Executive Officer Mr. Kevin Gabayan and Chief Business Officer Mr. Earl Valencia explained to the participants the workarounds of a financial technology company, as well as the services they offer such as online loans for various goods and services. Some of its partner merchants include 7/11, Smart, National Bookstore, Agoda, AirAsia, and Lazada.
Kevin studied Electrical Engineering in UCLA and pursued his graduate studies in the same field in Stanford University, while Earl studied Electronics and Communications Engineering in UP Diliman and Masters in Systems Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in Stanford Graduate School of Business. Together, they used their academic background and career experience in their respective industries to begin their start-up company.
