Wrapping up 2025 with excellence! Computer Engineering Program Achieves Level III Recognition

Asia Pacific College (APC) proudly celebrates a significant academic milestone this December 2025: the Computer Engineering program has been conferred Level III Reaccredited Status by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP), following a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU). This prestigious recognition, valid until May 2029, underscores APC’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous quality enhancement in engineering education.

This recognition affirms that the CpE program has successfully met PAASCU’s rigorous standards and fulfilled all requirements, including delivering high-quality instruction, sustaining meaningful community extension initiatives, fostering innovative and collaborative industry-academic linkages, maintaining a strong faculty development tradition, and implementing effective internal quality assurance mechanisms.

Engr. Sergio Peruda Jr., CpE Program Director emphasized that “achieving quality education and excellence is truly within reach because of the unwavering support of APC’s administrators, dedicated support staff, supportive Alumni and—most importantly—our committed faculty and dear students. We may be small in number, but with our shared determination and collective efforts, we continue to prove that anything is possible.”

Additionally, the School of Engineering Executive Director, Engr. Leonardo Samaniego, Jr., stated that “achieving this accolade is a remarkable milestone that reflects our collective determination, unity, and unwavering perseverance. This accomplishment is a testament to the hard work of all in the SoE community — faculty, students, alumni, staff and administrators who stood together with a shared vision of excellence. We will carry this momentum forward as we continue raising the standards of quality education and innovation in Computer Engineering and all engineering programs.”

Congratulations to the entire APC community for this landmark achievement in the Computer Engineering program—an inspiring testament to our collective pursuit of academic excellence and innovation. May this success pave the way for more programs to reach even greater heights in the years ahead.
