SM Cares is bringing together youth leaders and environmental advocates to celebrate the National Day of the Youth in Climate Action—a movement that highlights the vital role of young people in shaping a sustainable future. As stewards of tomorrow, the youth have the power to influence change and inspire communities to protect our environment.
Last November 23, 2025, APC volunteers (students and faculty) joined the National Day of the Youth in Climate Action through a coastal clean‑up at SM by the Bay. With over 304 dedicated participants, the team helped collect and properly dispose of almost 1,300 kilograms of coastal waste—a meaningful step toward cleaner shores and a healthier marine ecosystem.
This initiative highlights the power of young people in driving real environmental change. Every piece of trash collected is a reminder that small actions, when done together, create a big impact.
